Istria: the beauty of untouched nature
The Istrian landscape offers spots that are nothing short of pristine, ideal for having an experience on your own bicycle: the valley of Leme, the Fjord of Fianona, the Cave of Pisino and the coast of Rovinj are authentic natural paradises. Here, the diversity of flora and fauna meets with very varied landscapes, such as waterfalls, caves, and natural parks. The forests of Montona and Konti are considered among the most interesting and unique botanical-forestry reserves in Europe and the mountain massif of the Uèka, also known as Monte Maggiore, is the highest point of the peninsula and has been declared a natural park: within it numerous animal and plant species are protected. A landscape full of contrasts and colors, to be experienced on your own bike, rediscovering authentic contact with the surrounding nature: Istria is all this and much more.

Istria: culture and history within pedaling distance
The Istria is a country with a great historical and cultural heritage: here, there are countless delightful fishing villages and cities, with splendid buildings in Romanesque and Gothic style. The old town of Porec, also known as Parenzo, still retains the structure of the Roman castrum, with two main streets that intersect each other and is famous worldwide for the Euphrasian Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most important Byzantine art monument in all of Europe. Among other places not to be missed there are also the ancient and wonderful Roman colony of Pula, with the third largest amphitheater in Europe and Rovinj, an authentic mirage of white stones and red roofs, overlooking the water. Rovinj is a small city suspended on the sea and, at its top, stands the Cathedral of Santa Eufemia, which can be reached through a walk or a ride that runs along the Adriatic Sea. Visiting the Istria by bike means enjoying an authentic panorama, where nature and culture intertwine in unison, giving unique emotions.
