Is the tour guided? Yes. This tour is primarily a guided group tour with guided cycling tours as described in the itinerary. Overview maps for the daily tours are provided on board. Can I cycle independently? Possibly. Upon consultation with the tour guides, the possibility to cycle on your own along recommended, suitable routes may present itself. You may also choose to spend a half or full day swimming or staying on board instead of taking a planned bike tour. Are helmets required? Yes. Helmets are mandatory on the bike tours. You are advised to bring your own well-fitted helmet. Rental helmet numbers are limited and require reservation. How difficult are the rides? Level 4/5. Cycling takes place in hilly to mountainous terrain with some steeper ascents (up to approximately 400 meters). Daily distances are about 11–60 km, with total daily elevation around 400–700 meters. Confident riding on winding descents, uneven asphalt, and occasionally gravel paths is required. What are the road conditions and traffic like? Roads are mostly asphalted and there is little traffic outside holiday periods. On Hvar, a short section runs along unpaved gravel and field tracks. Traffic is to be expected in and around coastal towns. There are no designated bike paths in Dalmatia; tours take place on public roads, preferably on quiet side streets. Is there a minimum age for children? The operator believes only children with good physical condition, previous bicycle tour experience, and a minimum age of 10 can master the cycle tours with their own strength.
