Short Description

Across 8 days (6 stages / 7 nights), you will begin in Girona and ride into the heart of the Empordà, where medieval villages, vineyards, olive yards, and hidden coves unfold within just a few kilometers. You will climb safe mountain passes and roll along the Mediterranean, reaching Cap de Creus, the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula. Along the way, you will follow the trail of Salvador Dalí through Figueres, Púbol, and the coastal charm of Cadaqués (optional).

Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival in Girona
You will settle into your hotel and explore Girona, including the Jewish Quarter, the Cathedral, and the medieval walls.

Day 2: Girona – Loop Girona (66 km; +920 m)
You will start with a welcome meeting and route briefing, followed by bike fitting if you are renting. You will ride a rolling loop into the Llémana Valley via Canet d'Adri, Llorà, Bonmatí, and Mas Lluners, then return to Girona.

Day 3: Girona – Sant Feliu de Guíxols (60 km; +990 m)
You will ride toward Llagostera, climb to Sant Grau (465 m), then descend with Mediterranean views. You will continue along the coastal road used in the 2009 Tour de France to Sant Pol beach in Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

Day 4: Sant Feliu de Guíxols – Torroella de Montgrí (62 km; +640 m)
You will ride through Platja d'Aro, Calonge, Palamós, and Calella de Palafrugell, climb to the Sant Sebastià lighthouse (2 km; +150 m), continue via Begur and the Gulf of Pals, then turn inland to Pals before reaching Torroella de Montgrí.

Day 5: Torroella de Montgrí – Castelló d'Empúries (50 km; +258 m)
You will follow mostly flat roads toward Empúries and l'Escala, with the option to visit the archaeological site with Greek and Roman ruins dating back to 600 BC. You will finish in Castelló d'Empúries and can visit its cathedral.

Day 6: Castelló d'Empúries – Perafita – Figueres (69 km; +1,1140 m)
