Bicycle tourism grows every year, and as early as 2019, the figure of 20.5 million Italian travelers who decided to move by bike was reached: about 6% of the total tourist demand. Although still a low percentage, the trend confirms that this type of vacation is becoming increasingly important in the hearts of travelers.

The European countries most frequented by cycle tourists are also those that generally offer the most services, such as Austria, Germany, Denmark, and France. Italy ranks 8th, particularly with Trentino Alto Adige, Tuscany, and Lake Garda. Bike tourists are curious because they love to throw themselves into new adventures, take up challenges with themselves and their travel companions, but above all they love to discover unexplored corners even off the beaten path.

Bike tourists know how to adapt to every situation because traveling by bike is not always simple: imagine when it rains, when there is wind, when it's cold, or when you get a flat tire in the middle of nowhere. A good bike tourist leaves prepared to face all these contingencies.
