A perfect meeting point between Finland and Sweden: the Aland Islands are a unique natural paradise in the world and are also the largest archipelago on the planet. With around 6,500 islands scattered in the Baltic Sea, with only 60 inhabited, the Aland Islands are an autonomous province of Finland where Swedish is spoken and has its own tax system and its own flag.
